## Hypothetical temperature examples: CSV fields and interpretation

The CSV preserves the three hypothetical arithmetic cases in the article. It uses UTF-8 encoding with a byte order mark (BOM). The file contains static values, not automatic formulas. Recalculate totals, margins and both checks yourself after changing any input. These examples are not measured ratings, design acceptance or a current calculator.

### CSV fields

| CSV field | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| case_id | Hypothetical case identifier: A, B or C. |
| data_kind | The value hypothetical_arithmetic_not_measured identifies hypothetical arithmetic, not measurements. |
| ambient_C | Assumed ambient temperature at the contact location, in °C. |
| rise_C | Assumed temperature rise caused by current, in °C. |
| assumed_total_limit_C | Assumed total-temperature limit of 90°C; not a recommended product limit. |
| assumed_rise_limit_C | Assumed temperature-rise limit of 30°C; not a recommended product limit. |
| total_C | Ambient temperature plus temperature rise, in °C. |
| total_margin_C | Assumed total-temperature limit minus total temperature, in °C. This arithmetic difference is not a confirmed design safety margin. |
| within_total_assumption | true when total_C does not exceed assumed_total_limit_C; otherwise false. |
| within_rise_assumption | true when rise_C does not exceed assumed_rise_limit_C; otherwise false. |
| interpretation_zh | Interpretation retained in the original Chinese. English meanings for the three rows appear below. |

### Read the three cases

| Case | Hypothetical calculation | English meaning of interpretation_zh |
| --- | --- | --- |
| A | 55°C + 30°C = 85°C; 90°C − 85°C = 5°C | Both arithmetic conditions are met; this does not mean design or test acceptance. |
| B | 70°C + 30°C = 100°C; 90°C − 100°C = -10°C | Total temperature exceeds the assumed upper limit. The temperature-rise condition is still met. |
| C | 40°C + 35°C = 75°C; 90°C − 75°C = 15°C | Temperature rise exceeds the assumed upper limit. The total-temperature condition is still met. |

The original Chinese text in interpretation_zh remains unchanged in the download. Keep the two checks separate. The examples do not contain a measured current-to-temperature-rise relationship and cannot be used to calculate an allowable current. All three cases and their conclusions are available in the article without downloading the CSV.
