## Connector review sheet: fields and hypothetical example

Use the blank sheet to prepare a connector assembly review. It separates housing mating, terminal retention, the contact interface and document applicability. Enter acceptance limits and measurement results only during the subsequent actual inspection, using the applicable drawings and work instructions for the part combination. The sheet does not calculate a pass rate or automatically pass a connector because CPA or TPA is present.

### Blank sheet fields

| CSV field | What to record |
| --- | --- |
| level | Inspection level; use the row meanings below. |
| actual_part_set | Actual part-number combination. Match the housings, terminals, accessories and wires involved. |
| observed_condition | Observed facts only; keep hypotheses separate. |
| source_locator | Document number, revision and section supporting the check. |
| verification_method | Inspection method required by the applicable documents. |
| missing_input | Information or material still needed to define or carry out the check. |
| owner | Person responsible for the next step. |
| conclusion | A later conclusion supported by evidence. |

### Inspection levels

| Stored value | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| housing_mating | Mating and locking between the two housings. |
| terminal_retention | Terminal insertion and retention within the cavity. |
| contact_interface | Contact interface between the two terminals. |
| document_applicability | Whether the documents apply to the actual part-number combination. |

### Read the hypothetical example

The original example CSV retains its Chinese text. Its extra example_type field contains hypothetical_not_measured, identifying a hypothetical scenario with no measurement results. The hypothetical_scenario field keeps that scenario separate from observed_condition. Actual part numbers, observations, source locators, responsible person and conclusion remain blank.

The populated Chinese fields mean:

| Field | English meaning of the original example |
| --- | --- |
| hypothetical_scenario | The housings are latched, but the position of a terminal in one cavity differs from those in the other cavities. The drawings still need to be checked; terminal back-out has not been confirmed. |
| level | terminal_retention — terminal retention within the cavity. |
| verification_method | Obtain the application specification and drawings for the actual combination, then determine the prescribed checks. This row is not an inspection record. |
| missing_input | Actual part numbers, document revisions and applicable criteria. |

Keep the example's planned checking method separate from completed inspection evidence. A position difference alone does not confirm terminal back-out. Record subsequent observations and conclusions only when the specified checks provide supporting evidence.
