Cable Assembly Quality Testing

Testing follows the wiring table, method, fixture, and pass/fail criteria. Depending on the assembly, MTTJ can perform continuity, polarity, hi-pot, insulation resistance, airtightness, visual, dimensional, label, and packing checks and record the agreed results.

Inspection

Checks available before shipment

Depending on the assembly, checks can cover continuity, polarity, hi-pot, insulation resistance, airtightness, appearance, dimensions, labels, and packing.

Terminal crimpingPull force, crimp height, terminal fit, wire gauge, and appearance are checked from the terminal model and matching wire specification.
OvermoldingAppearance, geometry, material, surface finish, sealing needs, and cable exit are checked from the drawing or 3D geometry.
Electrical testingContinuity, polarity, hi-pot, insulation resistance, or functional test requirements are checked with the supplied method, fixture, and pass/fail limits.
Airtightness testingNitrogen test condition, pressure, and leak criteria supplied with the inquiry.
Ribbon cable processingSplitting, tearing, cutting dimensions, appearance, and drawing-based pass/fail criteria.
Labeling and packingLabels, markings, bagging, cartons, and shipment records follow the drawing, packing note, and order requirements.
